We are putting together our largest ever team of runners and walkers in support of the hospitals, and we would love you to be part of it.
After an unprecedented 18 months we are delighted to have opportunities for you and your friends or family to take part of some wonderful events later this year, Run Reigate, Walk for Wards (Sussex), and the Virgin Money London Marathon, while supporting the local hospitals.
Alongside event finisher t-shirts, medals (where offered by the races), you’ll also receive an exclusive SASH 2021 t-shirt or running vest.
Running – from a childrens race to a 5k 10k, Half Marathon or the Virtual London Marathon!
If you are a runner, please join us (with a free race entry!) in the Run Reigate award winning Half Marathon, 10k, 5k, or childrens race.
Run Reigate is always a brilliant event, and this comeback year we ‘d love to have SASH NHS Colleagues running alongside members the local community the hospitals serve.
Whatever your chosen distance, we’d love to have you running with us.

Alternatively, if you’re building up towards marathon fitness, we have a limited number of spaces available in the Virtual London Marathon (3 October). The virtual marathon takes place on the same day as the central London marathon itself, and you can do your 26miles anywhere you like, tracking your progress using a bespoke marathon app, which also connects you to specially designed audio feeds so you feel absolutely part of this incredible event.
The free places are available to anyone who wants to raise funds for SASH Charity, and help us do more in the local hospitals. In this extraordinary year we would be incredibly grateful for your support.

Walking
If you and your friends are more walkers than runners, we are delighted to be part of Walk for Wards (Sussex) 2021, a family friendly 5k or 10k sponsored walk around the beautiful Glyne Estate in the heart of the South Downs.
We have teamed up with the other NHS Charities in Sussex for what promises to be a really lovely day, with fundraising supporting hospitals like ours, and other NHS related charities across Sussex.
Your entry fee includes event entry, and a unique t-shirt.
