All Day

Run Reigate is a fantastic festival of running, for all the family. Most runners live within the areas served by our hospitals, and it’s a wonderful community event. We would love to have as many people as possible running for our hospitals.

We are pleased to announced that all 100 spaces have now been allocated. Thank you to every person who has joined the SASH Charity running team for Run Reigate on Sunday 19 September 2021.

If you would still like to join in, tickets are available to purchase on the Run Reigate website: Races include the Intersport Run Reigate Half  Marathon, as well as the 10k, 5k, and the children’s races which happen on the same day.

To set up a fundraising page you can do so here to support your local hospitals:

If you would like to support the neonatal unit you can set up a fundraising page here:

We are are hoping that as many of you as possible will continue to join us and help raise funds for Olive’s Appeal – for the neonatal intensive care / special care for babies at East Surrey Hospital. You could also run for the charity overall, to help our wider work for families of all ages using the hospitals.

You can enter as an individual, or we would love to have teams running too, so if you think your company, school, running club or group of friends would like to sign up, then complete the application form at the bottom of this page.

Run Reigate is a multi award winning race, winning Best UK Half Marathon at the 2017 National Running Awards as well as silver awards in 2015 and 2018. As the hospital charity for Reigate, and people accross Surrey and Sussex, we are delighted to be part of the event, and hope you will join the team by running for us.

Frequently asked questions:

Can i enter any of the races? Yes  – your fundraising support is hugely appreciated, whatever distance you choose to run.

Can we enter as a team? Yes – you can enter as a team. Your race entry itself will be as an individual, but once you’ve entered, and set up a justgiving page, you can link it with other people from the same company/group/organisation to form a team. Contact us if you’d like some help doing this – [email protected]

Do I have to run for the neonatal unit? No – you can fundraise either for the neonatal appeal, or for SASH Charity overall, which supports departments across the whole hospital. To run for the charity/hospitals overall, just setup your fundraising page on our main justgiving page here.

Can you help me fundraise? We can certainly help promote your fundraising, through our social media channels. As well as sending you a printed sponsorship form if helpful. In practice it’s likely to be your friends, family, colleagues, neighbours etc who sponsor you, so sharing the link to your justgiving page on your own social media feeds is often very helpful.
