A lovely idea, making a difference!
Staff across East Surrey Hospital are welcoming a small but meaningful boost to their day in the form of the Hug in a mug trolley - an initiative funded entirely by charitable donations. The mobile refreshments trolley, which visits wards and departments weekly, offers free drinks and snacks to NHS staff, giving them a brief moment to pause and recharge during busy shifts.
Staff have responded with overwhelming appreciation, with many sharing that it helps them feel recognised and cared for.
