Gatwick Airport and Surrey & Sussex Healthcare Charity

We are hugely grateful to staff of London Gatwick Airport who voted for the Charity as the airport's charity partner. Together we hope to make a real difference for the people who rely on our hospitals. You can help whichever part of our hosptials means the most to you, or you can join the team of Gatwick Colleagues raising money to transform the childrens ward at East Surrey Hospital.

In 2025 - we are trying to raise £50,000 to transform a childrens treatment room, and an isolation room for children with cancer in the Gatwick Area.

How Gatwick staff can help

If you work in or around the airport, there are lots of ways you can help. If you’re employed by Gatwick Airport Ltd, GAL Ltd will match fund whatever you raise up to £250!

  • Take on a sponsored challenge: You can check out some forthcoming events on our events page here.
  • Run Reigate: We are putting together a team from Gatwick to take on Run Reigate (September) for the hospitals. Drop us an email at sash.charity@nhs.net if you'd like to take part!
  • Do your own thing: We love seeing how imaginative people are. Whatever you do, remember to stay safe, and to set up your donations page online here. Could organise a golf day, a fundraising ball, a quiz, an aircraft tow... whatever you like!

If you would like to know more about how to get involved, please drop us a line at sash.charity@nhs.net
