Every children's appeal needs it's mascot, and we invite all children who live in Surrey or Sussex who would like to participate to help us create ours! The chosen mascot will then form part of our children's appeal and used on promotional materials at events, as well as within our hospital.

The East Surrey Hospital Children's Appeal will help children have the best possible experience in hospital. Your fundraising and appreciations of thanks will go towards a few key projects that will allow us to go above and beyond for childrens, families and staff, whilst making the hospital feel more child-friendly.

Through this appeal, we will:

  • Transform a medical treatment room
  • Create a new parents room
  • Help make a new day procedures unit child-friendly
  • Fund the FUN!

About SASH Charity

We're the hospital charity for all the services provided by Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust (SASH). Thanks to your support, we're on a mission to make hospital experiences better for everyone who needs them.

The hospitals are there to help over 535,000 people in East Surrey, North-East West Sussex, and South Croydon, covering places like Gatwick Airport, Crawley, Horsham, Reigate, and Redhill. SASH Charity do not subsidise what the government is expected to provide – your fundraising helps to go above and beyond, to name a few things we couldn't have done without you: fund a cold cap machine for patients affected by hair loss during chemotherapy, purchase 5 state-of-the-art incubators, and provide weddings for those receiving end of life care. Plus, your generosity directly supports NHS staff in Surrey and Sussex, making sure they can take care of us when we need them most.
