The Pharmacy Department at East Surrey Hospital has received a kind gift from Pinocchio’s House, a family-run coffee business co-founded by Morteza Balaie, a former East Surrey pharmacist. The Pinocchio’s House team generously donated a barista-style coffee machine and their signature Pinocchio coffee pods to the department.

“East Surrey will always hold a special place in my heart,” said Morteza. “It’s not only one of my favourite hospitals to have worked at, but it’s also where my late brother once received care. This donation felt like things coming full circle a way to give back to a team and hospital that truly inspired me.”
The East Surrey Pharmacy Team shared their gratitude for the thoughtful donation:
“It’s such a kind and personal way to show appreciation. Every cup will remind us of the shared connection between pharmacy, care, and community.”
Our thanks to Morteza and the Pinocchio’s House team for their generous contribution and continued support of staff at East Surrey Hospital.
