Due to the pandemic, lots of events have had to been put on hold and charities, like ourselves, have been eagerly waiting in anticipation to announce our next event and SASH Charity are excited to announce that we have 10 places for the Virtual 2021 Virgin Money London Marathon!
The 2021 marathon will be the world’s first 100,000-person marathon. It is set to make history, with 50,000 runners participating virtually (from all around the globe) and 50,000 runners participating in the traditional route.
The virtual marathon will be taking place on Sunday 3rd October 2021 where runners will be able to track their progress via the official London Marathon app. All runners who complete 26.2 miles in the allotted time frame 00:00-23:59 will receive a well-earned medal and a t-shirt.
Places will be shared among individuals who work for our hospitals, those who support SASH, and Gatwick Airport – our charity partner.

We ask that participants raise a minimum of £250 for SASH Charity.
Confirmation of places will be announced once your application has been reviewed and places will be allocated on a first come first served basis via email. We cannot wait to receive your applications – it’s time to put on your running shoes!
