From events, donations and your support we have been entertained by some of the most talented people in our local communities. Here are just six of the amazing talents that have supported SASH this year.
.) Mark Levin is a prime example of the amazing local talent that we have within Surrey and Sussex. Mark plays beautiful songs on his harp for patients, staff and visitors supporting our local hospitals, alongside a variety of events. He will be supporting us over the festive season at East Surrey Hospital on 2nd, 8th and 17th December 2021.
.) The Mariachis brought everyone to their feet as they played at The Big SASH Thank You event at Flower Farm, contributing towards what was an incredible day for NHS colleagues and their friends and family to enjoy together.
.)Wishing Well Music support SASH by performing musical sessions for those with dementia and who are elderly. The benefits are incredible as the music helps to trigger memories and much welcomed stories from our patients.
.) Radio Redhill is the well-loved hospital radio station. The station welcomes requests from both patients and staff during their stay in hospital. SASH Charity funded their application supporting an FM licence which will allow music to be enjoyed in a more accessible manner.
.) The Harlequin Theatre and Cinema in Redhill put on a show that showcased a variety of local talents. There was something for everyone to enjoy from music, comedy, contortionists and dance. From 48 entries of diverse talent, and 3000 votes for the best acts, this resulted in 10 winners who will performed at the ‘Live from Lockdown’ event earlier this year. If you wan’t to see the winners who performed on the night, view the talented performers here.
.) The Oxted Brass Band have been a great supporter of SASH and their incredible talents have kept everyone entertained throughout the pandemic from a variety of channels.
